Showdown evening 31st May '13, Anne and Russel sitting in front of the entrance before handing out flyers. 

Above are a few photos of our recent show at my local deli; Deli X, Deptford high street. On display (extended until 15th June) are recent photo collages by b-sights.co.uk, Seagull&Sword and some of my typographic map prints. 

Delicious Deptford Market inspired bites were served at the showdown by Sonia and the team at Deli X. It included spring-rolls, mini-toads in the hole, and spicy mini portions of Jamaican ackee and saltfish - which were just as well received by the guests as the art on the walls. Thank you to everyone who has helped making the event happen, to those who helped out on the night and to all the guests for turning up :)

Map of San Francisco - out now

Typographic map of San Francisco is out now. It names neighbourhoods, parks, Golden Gate bridge, Pier 39 and Alcatraz. Prints are hand screen-printed on archival printmaking paper. Texture, deckle edge and vibrancy of colours convey an air of heritage while the character comes from slight inconsistencies in the ink levels.

Brush Stroke

Brush Stroke, named by my very practical better half, is a based on characters painted with a fat brush. Every character is a gesture giving this typeface a spontaneous, expressive feel.
Brush Stroke is suitable for headings and short paragraphs. It is extended, containing West European diacritics making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications. For now it's only available from Seagull Hut.

Doodle Pen

Here's my latest typeface creation: Doodle Pen is a whimsical hand-drawn typeface. Characters are based on ballpoint pen multi-line drawings creating a scribbled texture and soft edges. This typeface will work well for headings, short paragraphs and scrap-book style designs. Doodle Pen is extended, containing West European diacritics making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications.

Unisketch

Unisketch is now available on MyFonts. This typeface is an homage to my favourite font at design college: Univers by Adrian Frutiger. Unisketch with its worn, misaligned and slightly tilted characters still retains some of the qualities that workhorse body copy requires: It is legible at small sizes and produces a compact 'Schriftbild'. Available in bold and light.
